Pastor John Bethard has been serving Charles Town Presbyterian Church since the summer of 2004. John has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video production from Penn State, and graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity in 1997. He served churches in Pennsylvania and Texas before coming to Charles Town. John’s interests outside of ministry include gardening and bicycling, and movies! John is the proud father of three great kids, Zachary, Saige and Alexander, and has been married to his wife Laurie since 2013.

Here you will find plenty of information about our church.  CTPC has been in Charles Town since 1797, and we have the distinction of being the only sanctuary in Charles Town not burned down by Union troops in the Civil War.  Here you will find what you need to know about CTPC:
